Wow, sounds like they have outdone the first Uncharted by quite a bit. This could be GOTY, I wouldn't be suprised or at least in the running.
They seem quite proud of what they've accomplished with the engine so good news for gamers:
"If Naughty Dog is going to do snow, it's got to be the best snow that you've ever seen in a videogame! So we've added shaders for ice, frost and snow that include simulated sub-surface scattering, to really capture the subtle way ...
deleted my comment never realized the article was in question.
FPS all the way !
I was very glad to see they went with FPS, until today that question was up in the air.
Also THANK GOD they chose big open colorful environments,I really like the look of this as opposed to some metallic sci-fi clusterf@ck
From what I understand your placed in a squad of 8, so 16 squads of 8 each side. But yea I don't think its 256 guys just running around shooting each other. but i'm not sure how they work the squad objectives either but everyone is a part of a bigger picture
"I can tell you now with relative certainty that it is going to disappoint you."
Considering how little has been shown of the game and the quality of the first 2, I think it's stupid to assume the game is a disappointment
Seems like someone needed some "clicks" to their site
WOWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't believe it!!! The CORNER of the F@cking Box !!!!!!!!
"...and I Jizz in my pants"
That was sarcasm by the way, this is one incredibly stupid article
Who on earth wants to use their console for "text chatting"?????????? Usually your "chatting" while playing a game, so isn't the mic better. I can't seeing using my PS3 or 360 to text with ppl
WOW, I'm kinda shocked their wasn't an assault on VG Chartz where these numbers came from lol
That number may be LOW
On January 3, 2008, Microsoft announced that Halo 3 has sold 8.1 million copies -- that's from Wikipedia sourced by Gamespot
http://www.gamespot.com/new...
Seems like they'd have sold more than 1.3 million in the 14 months since that report?? But still awesome sales
I find it hard to be a good guy in those types of games,
Fable 2-couldn't be nice
Fallout 3-always ended up needed to kill everything that moved
Mass Effect- much funner being bad
KOTOR- def better evil
Oblivion- way funner to massacre the towns
I dunno, the way there made doing good seems tedious, whereas being evil is instant gratification lol. So "OFF WITH THEIR HEADS" :)
They said there are already 70+ titles releasing next year, they won't drop it til it no longer makes financial sense to keep it. It's still going strong
What they really should do is forget the single player all together and make a solely online game, tons of maps, unlockables etc. I think with this series no one would miss the single player too much. unless thats just me- i blazed through the single and did nothing after that but online play all the time
One thing I think that is overlooked is the question --is this 256 players all on the screen in one enormous battle or as I understand you are divided into squads and work towards objectives.
I think you play as an 8 man squad but that squad is sorta part of a larger squad and so on? so if is 128vs128 then each side has 16 squads who each must have smaller objectives working towards one massive group objective?
Is this what everyone else understands? Wikipedia says the 8 ma...
I think it's a smart strategy for Sony
The PS2 has the ability to still capture the casual gaming market that the Wii is into, at a very low price
The PS3 is still there to go after the hardcore gamers and those with HDTV's Blu Ray etc
Sony is in a Very good position to dominate gaming, They have a solution for the Wii,DS and 360
The Problem is they have the worst marketing dept ever seen, if they get aggressive with the competition I believe they could dominat...
Well if their adding vehicles the new maps will have to be pretty wide open, with the existing maps only the sandstorm style level is big enough to run around in a jeep?
So we must assume their going for some more large open style levels in the DLC
Then why don't they pick their games up from the store. That figure was tossed around months ago and is garbage. 1.2-1.3 mil worldwide after first month--------goto to the leaderboards 4 urself
Yea not sure where they will take the battles next, but they have found a proven formula that sells like hotcakes. Seems like a huge moneymaker i can't see them just dropping it. Prop they are moving on to a different local rather than MW, not sure how lame it would be but WW1 I think could be cool lol. It's always WW2
I just wanna see some more vids and gameplay of it lol.
It's Sony's game and coming out on PS3, so no point in arguing, I really hope this gets tons of support online, been really wanting to get into a 60v60 R2 match and not happening.
A game like MAG will need alot of gamers to keep the rooms full
The reason this topic generates hits and all these responses is KZ2 WAS supposed to be the PS3's big thing. From the first video when it was shown at E3 it was hailed as the second coming. It WAS supposed to be the end of the 360, the greatest looking game, the greatest etc etc etc
So as it turns out the game, although great, did NOTHING. Mediocre sales which were completely unexpected. So it does draw one to question-WHY?????Why don't PS3 owners buy games??
PS- I Pl...
Goto KZ's own leaderboards if u wanna c some numbers, just over 800,000 played online- so 1.2 to 1.3 is prob pretty damn close if that
Yea won't be hard to find the leak lol,
I imagine he'll be leaking some campaign footage soon too
